Mandarin Pudding

Mandarin Pudding.

Mandarin Pudding is very delicious for dessert. Ingredients for four:

• gelatine – 16 grams
• milk – 300 ml
• cream ( 30% of fat )- 150 g
• dietetic cottage cheese – 250 g
• confectioner’s sugar – 100 g
• vanilla sugar – 1 tea-spoon


To make a sauce you need:


• 4 mandarins
• confectioner’s sugar – 100 g
• citrus liqueur – 2 table-spoons
• chopped almonds
• melisse leaves for pudding’s decoration

Steep gelatine into some cold water. Blend milk with cream. Grind dietetic

cottage cheese with confectioner’s sugar and vanilla sugar, then blend milk

with cream and mix all ingredients.Warm up this mass slightly on the fire stiring it

(to have a warm mass ).

Ring the water out of steeped gelatine and put it into warm cottage cheese

mass. Then put the curds mass into 4 small forms and put them into the refrigerator

for 3 hours.

Peel the mandarins, divide them into segments and cut each segment in two.

Dissolve confectioner’s sugar in 150 ml hot water. Put mandarins’ bits there

and boil them on a small fire during 10 minutes. Then take out of the fire, pour 2

table-spoons of citrus liqueur there and blend it.

Take forms with pudding out of the refrigerator. Put into the bowl with hot

water ( to the brim) and upset quickly on the plate. Put fruits around and on the

pudding. Decorate it with chopped almonds and melisse leaves. Follow such

advice: make pudding in the evening ( before going to bed ). Dessert will cool

better then and it will have an ideal form.
